Se acerca el 6 de Diciembre y la ciudad de Quito empieza su festejo de fundación, pensé que debo compartir unas fotos de Quito… o San Francisco de Quito… de mi linda ciudad!

Quito es la capital del Ecuador, es una de las ciudades más altas pues se ubica a 2800 metros sobre el nivel del mar, está hermosamente rodeada de montañas y su centro histórico es uno de los más grandes y mejor conservados en el continente. La ciudad de Quito fue declarada Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.

As December 6^th approaches and the city of Quito is preparing to celebrate its foundation, I thought I’d share some pictures of Quito… or San Francisco de Quito… my city!

Quito is the capital of Ecuador and its one of the highest cities in the world as it has an elevation of 2800 meters above sea level, beautifully surrounded by mountains and its historic center its one of the largest and best preserved in the continent and, as declared by UNESCO, its a World Cultural Heritage Site.
